Mae

profile

Mæ was established to solve today's urban, social and environmental challenges; finding new possibilities for how our built environment can contribute to life and society.

We go beyond the traditional remit of the architect. We use our artistic skills to ask questions, our design skills to find solutions, technology to help make possibilities and leadership to influence.

We seek to challenge the status quo by working in an integrated way developing strategies and design at all scales from the city scale to the scale of a building and its detailing thereby creating exceptional buildings and great places.

Mæ is an RIBA Chartered Practice. We undertake architecture, urban design, policy development and guidance writing, teaching and training.

The practice is led by Alex Ely
