Alex will be speaking at the RIBA South West Housing Conference on 6 November

 

Alex will be participating in this years 10x10 drawing the city with work being auctioned in November in aid of Article 25

 

In December Alex will be speaking at the Fourth Moscow Urban Forum on the subject Legislation for Development: Legal Aspects of City Governance. A Duty of Care for the Quality of the Urban Realm

 

 


Aylesbury Estate


6th February 2014:
Mæ are delighted to be part of the team chosen by Southwark Council to redevelop the 28 hectare Aylesbury Estate in Walworth, South East London.  Working with HTA and Hawkins\Brown we are part of a Notting Hill Housing Trust-led bid for the coveted job to replace the Hans Peter Trenton-designed estate with 4,200 new homes.

 


 

Sunderland Regeneration


7th January 2014:
Mæ have been chosen to work on an £800m regeneration programme in Sunderland. Working with Carillion and Igloo Regeneration this multiple site project commences in 2014

 


 

Brentford Lock West


7th January 2014:
Mæ have been competitively selected for the Phase 2 of Brentford Lock West, a large mixed use scheme in the London Borough of Hounslow for ISIS Waterside Regeneration.  The project will comprise 130 units for private sale and commercial spaces.  The accommodation will be housed in a waterfront building and courtyard townhouses and apartments around a landscaped garden.

 


 

Hammond Court wins BDA Chairman's Award 2013


15th November 2013:
Our project for East Thames Housing, Hammond Court has won the inaugural Brick Development Association Chairman's Award. The scheme was recognised as an outstanding example of humane infill urban design that is well detailed and modern in its language and architecture which complements the surrounding traditional housing.

 


 

A Dolls' House


15th November 2013:
The Dolls' House Auction at Bonhams raised an impressive £89,000 for KIDS. Mæ were delighted to be part of this initiative by Cathedral and would like to thank everyone who contributed to this project. Our Mæ-Mak house formed part of the auction and will now be used by KIDS in their Home Learning (Portage) service. We are in discussion with them about producing further houses for wider use.
