Hammond Court wins BDA Chairman's Award 2013


15th November 2013:
Our project for East Thames Housing, Hammond Court has won the inaugural Brick Development Association Chairman's Award. The scheme was recognised as an outstanding example of humane infill urban design that is well detailed and modern in its language and architecture which complements the surrounding traditional housing.

 


 

A Dolls' House


15th November 2013:
The Dolls' House Auction at Bonhams raised an impressive £89,000 for KIDS. Mæ were delighted to be part of this initiative by Cathedral and would like to thank everyone who contributed to this project. Our Mæ-Mak house formed part of the auction and will now be used by KIDS in their Home Learning (Portage) service. We are in discussion with them about producing further houses for wider use.

 


 

Architect of the Year Awards

2nd September 2013:
Mæ are delighted to be a finalist for the Architect of the Year Awards 2013 Housing category, after refurbishment housing was the most 'hotly contested category'. The winner will be announced on 3rd December.


 


 

A Dolls' House

21st August 2013:
On 11th November 2013, mae as one of "19 of the world's best architects" will present their version of a dolls' house in an exhibition and auction at Bonhams in aid of KIDS

 


 

Church End gains planning permission


11th July 2013:
: Church End, a new residential project for the London Borough of Brent, has recently gained planning permission.  The scheme will provide the area with 35 new homes plus community and enterprise space.
