Housing Design Awards 2011 Winner

14th July 2011: New Islington's 'The Guts' has won a Housing Design Award, two other schemes by Mæ were shortlisted: Hammond Court in Waltham Forest for East Thames Group and Colville Estate with Karakusevic Carson Architects for London Borough of Hackney.


 

SB3 Challenge Cup win

7th June 2011: Partner Alex Ely was part of the winning team for the inaugural Little Britain Laser SB3 Challenge Cup 2011 on Saturday 6th June and we are pleased to support the good causes backed by Little Britain.

Mæ to remodel hillington square

19th April 2011: Mæ has been chosen, from 77 expressions of interest, to transform one of King's Lynn's most deprived 1960s housing estates, Hillington Square. Working with clients Freebridge Community Housing, and Hemingway Design, mæ is now working up designs for the project which aims to remodel all of the estate's 15 residential blocks and public spaces.


 

hammond court: unanimous planning approval

15th November 2010: Mæ has received unanimous planning consent for a 43 dwelling new build housing scheme in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Our designs for Hammond Court, an estate renewal scheme for East Thames Group, was cited by the planning committee to be "an opportunity not to be missed’ and "an exceptional design".
