Mæ selected to design HAPPI Housing


9th January 2013:
Mæ has won an invited competition to design a new elderly person housing scheme consisting of 45 flats above enterprise space located in London, NW8. City of Westminster's brief required a flagship scheme, which reaches the highest possible design and sustainability standards.  The housing scheme will be designed to HAPPI recommendations (Housing for an Ageing Population Panel for Innovation).

 


 

Lilestone Street Flagship Healthcare Facility


9th January 2013:
Mæ has been selected to design a 6000 sqm flagship healthcare facility, community facilities, office and housing. The project, on behalf of Westminster City Council, is located on Lilestone Street, London, NW8.

 


 

Housing Standards Review

10th December 2012: Partner Alex Ely has been appointed to the Technical Housing Standards Space Review Working Group. The independent group of building industry experts are tasked with simplifying the mass of rules imposed on developers and house builders. The Panel was launched by Communities Minister Don Foster as part of the Government's Red Tape Challenge and will report to Ministers in Spring 2013.

Mæ partner appointed to olympic legacy review panel

8th August 2012: Mæ Partner Alex Ely has been appointed by the London Legacy Development Corporation to join its new design review panel, which will oversee the development of the post-Games Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Earlier in the year mæ's Chobham Manor scheme was shortlisted as part of a developer competition for one of five neighbourhoods planned for the park site.
