hillington square consultation begins

19th September 2011: The concept design for the new Hillington Square was unveiled at King's Lynn's historic Guildhall today, marking the start of a month long public consultation. mae Partner Alex Ely presented the proposed scheme to residents and the local community who now have four weeks in which to give feedback before it is submitted for planning approval. The designs are on display in the offices of both Freebridge Community Housing and the Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk until the end of October.


 

colville gets planning

3rd August 2011: Colville Estate masterplan has received planning permission. The scheme in London Borough of Hackney designed with Karakusevic Carson Architects and in close collaboration with the Resident Steering Group and the Council will create a new neighbourhood of 925 new homes to replace 1950s blocks.


 

Housing Design Awards 2011 Winner

14th July 2011: New Islington's 'The Guts' has won a Housing Design Award, two other schemes by Mæ were shortlisted: Hammond Court in Waltham Forest for East Thames Group and Colville Estate with Karakusevic Carson Architects for London Borough of Hackney.


 

SB3 Challenge Cup win

7th June 2011: Partner Alex Ely was part of the winning team for the inaugural Little Britain Laser SB3 Challenge Cup 2011 on Saturday 6th June and we are pleased to support the good causes backed by Little Britain.
