The London Mayor's Housing Design Guide is launched today following a period of consultation on the Draft, which was published last November. mæ has been working with the LDA and Design for London reviewing the responses and editing the draft document. Nearly 100 responses were received. The Guide sets the requirements for development on LDA land and supports the GLA's forthcoming Housing Supplementary Planning Guidance for London.

The London Housing Design Guide, developed by mæ for the Mayor’s London Development Agency, was launched for consultation today at the London Housing Strategy Conference.  The Guide simplifies the range of other housing design guidance - such as Lifetime Homes and Housing Quality Indicators – and aims to set a new benchmark for the design and quality of London’s new housing.
