mae

mæ is leading a series of training events for Urban Design London following the success of our input into the 2007-2009 training programme. The events are aimed at London's Local Authority officers and officers from Transport for London.

Training includes:

A one day workshop on 'How to read and draw plans', and 'How to communicate and negotiate design issues'.

A three day seminar programme on 'Urban Design and Planning a Foundation Course' which includes sessions on:

• Design and National Planning Policy and Guidance
• Creating Design Policies and Documents
• Design and planning decisions
• Post Committee Actions
• Design at Appeal

The courses will be run three times a year, with the intention to repeat the programme in 2010 and 2011.
